Courts are for Kelly Plantation residents and their accompanied guests ONLY. Courts are open 8 am to 9 pm.

Kelly Plantation Pickleball Court Policy

Courts are for Kelly Plantation Owners and their accompanied guests ONLY.
Non-Owner individuals or groups are not allowed to schedule or use court time.
Scheduled group court play is reflected on the Association website.
Owners may use one court based on scheduled time slots and may have up to three guests per time slot.
Play is limited to a maximum of 4 players on the court at one time, with at least one being the Owner, with the only exceptions being group lesson play or a family unit of more than 4.
Courts may be scheduled through the Kelly Plantation Board Pickleball Committee for Owner Group play. At least one Owner must be present for each court utilized. A Kelly Owner Group qualifies for scheduled times through the Kelly Plantation Pickleball Board Committee based on application and other factors reviewed annually by the Kelly Pickleball Board Committee. This requirement is for purposes of allowing the Kelly Plantation HOA to maximize play for all Owners of the Kelly Plantation HOA. The scheduled hours of any Group play and the scheduled number of courts per Group is solely determined by the Kelly Plantation Board Pickleball Committee. Any annually Approved League Play by a qualifying Kelly Plantation team (to be determined solely by the Kelly Plantation Board Pickleball Committee) must occur between 5 pm and 7 pm on Thursday.
Group lesson play for Owners is limited to 3 courts at any time and must be rescheduled with the Committee. Play is limited to a maximum of 12 players on the 3 courts. The group lesson instructors must be registered with the Kelly Plantation HOA.
Proper attire, including a shirt, must be worn. No loud music allowed.
Appropriate tennis shoes are encouraged and no hard sole shoes are allowed.
Courts and lines should be cleaned after each use. All trash and balls must be removed.
For energy conservation, please turn the court lights off when finished.
Courts are open from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily. No after-hour use allowed.
Owner Identification must be provided upon request by HOA management.

Board of Directors Communication on Pickleball Schedule and Rules Update

Attached you will find the Summer Pickleball schedule approved by the Kelly Plantation Board of Directors in April. The schedule attached is effective immediately and will run through November 1, 2025. Various Groups of Owners have approached the Board’s Pickleball Committee to be approved as a Pickleball Group for the purpose of scheduling recurring time slots for their respective Group’s play on the courts. The Pickleball Groups approved by the Pickleball Committee have been assigned certain time slots based on their requests and the Board’s desire to make sure that ample time is available for all Owners, especially those not part of a Pickleball Group (Non-Group Owners). Non-Group Play: These are times and courts specifically assigned to Non-Group Owners (Kelly Owner individuals, families, friends, etc) in which Pickleball Group Play does not get priority. These assigned time slots along with the nonscheduled (blank) time slots on the calendar (approximately 75% of all weekly court time) allow for morning, midday and afternoon time slots available for our Owners that are not a part of any organized Pickleball Group. During the development of this schedule, available court time for Non-Group Owners continues to be the number one input received by the Board and we have taken measures to make sure this time is available on our courts. The summer schedule will be posted on our website and will be posted at the courts for all. Just a reminder that the courts open at 8 am each morning and the lights and court time close at 9 pm each night.
