Kelly Plantation Resale Sign Policy

The Kelly Plantation New Construction Committee has pre-approved a standardized sign for homes or lots set for resale. No other sign is permitted. This shall include any signs placed on the interior of a structure that is visible in any manner from the exterior. No “Take One” flyer box is authorized.

Standardized Sign Description

  1. Color: Kelly Plantation Green (Forest Green). The following must be in white; lettering, the Kelly Planation leaf logo, and border.
  2. Size: 10” H x 18” W
  3. Presentation: Kelly Plantation logo symbol top center. The word “AVAILABLE” in all capital letters, 2” tall and centered. Phone numbers in numerals that are 1 ¾” tall centered under the word ‘AVAILABLE.” A realty company name can be placed under ‘AVAILABLE’ and above the phone number in their employ of “For Sale by Owner.” Letter height should be approximately 1 ¼”.
  4. The sign must be placed in the ground so as not exceed 4’ in height and be parallel to the street.
  5. No balloons or other accouterments will be attached to the sign.
  6. A maximum of two (2) 2” H x 18” W signs may be attached under the outside sign only after approved by the General Manager.

Signs that do not meet this requirement will be asked to be removed at the owner’s expense.

There is not a preferred sign vendor however, the following companies are familiar with Kelly Plantation’s sign expectations and colors.

Kelly Plantation Open House Guidelines

An Open House may be permitted between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm. Monday – Saturday. No signs will be allowed before 9 am and all signs must be removed by 6 pm.

Open House signs will be allowed on common area property near the main entrances to Kelly Plantation at Hwy 98, Commons Dr. or Danny Wuerfel Way. All Open House signs and directional sign material will be Kelly Plantation green in color (Forest Green) Coroplast with 3” white lettering.

Open House directional signs may be used as necessary and within reason to lead prospective buyers from the neighborhood sign to the Open House property.

Only one house signs 18” by 24” will be allowed at the entrance of the neighborhood. A second Open House sign may be placed at the property entrance. Only one open house sign will be allowed on the property being sold. NO SIGNS are to be placed on the bay, bayou, lake, or golf course side of any property. No other signs, balloons, banners, etc. will be permitted.

All Open House events must be attended by the Realtors designated personnel during the entire period the home is open. Any Open House found to be unattended will be immediately closed, signs removed, and owners notified. The Board may opt to suspend the realtors ability to hold Open Houses on Kelly Plantation for violation of the Open House Guidelines.

Open House flyers may be left with the security guards at the East and South gate.
